A configured design and a manufacturable BOM are the same model
Design Engine's parametric configuration, the calculation run that resolves it into parts, and the drawing set the floor works from all read the same underlying construction rules - never three separate, driftable copies.
Parametric configuration
Configure a cabinet by width, height, depth and construction system - the model resolves panels, hardware and joinery from real, authored rules, not a guess.
BOM without re-entry
A calculation run turns the configured design straight into a bill of materials and its material requirements - no second pass to itemise it by hand. Automated, nesting-aware cut-list optimisation is planned, not shipped.
Construction-accurate output
Assembly orientation, top construction, grooved backs and shelf clearances are computed from the same construction-system rules the BOM reads.
Drawings that match the model
Drawing output is generated from the same calculated model, so a change to the design carries through. CAD-grade drawings and coordinated 3D output are planned rather than shipped today.
One calculation run, every part accounted for
Pick a product definition, set its dimensions and construction options, and run the calculation - panels, hardware, edge-banding and machining markers all resolve from the authored construction system, with per-part material, grain and edge-treatment data attached, not just a total cost.
- Author-defined construction systems, not hardcoded assumptions
- Per-panel thickness, orientation and clearance rules
- Nothing hand-itemised after the fact
A drawing model built for the floor
Drawing output is organised on a real layer registry with declared line weights and plot status, so a hatch or a hardware marker is meant to read correctly on screen and printed without colour. Production-standard PDF/DXF export is planned, not shipped today.
- Layer registry keeps line weights and plot status consistent
- Generated from the same calculated model as the BOM
- PDF/DXF export for CAD/CAM and shop-floor printing: planned
